Slacking!

I can make excuses as to why I haven't kept up with this blog, but what's the point? If I really wanted to I could have found the time to sit down and do something to contribute to blog. I've recently learned, you can always make yourself busy to avoid people, work, the truth, or all of the above. I'm going to make an effort to work and advertise the blog more. I'm not doing a very good job in the advertising department, so please feel free to send emails to your friends who would be interested in this. I would really love the support!

Saved by Prayer

I'm very excited to post that our first post isn't asking for prayer its simple showing just how powerful it can be.

I have a friend who has a tremendous amount of faith in God. She is always preaching to her friends about God and how they should be saved. The other day she asked me to pray for her best friend because she had been doing bad things to her body and my friend really wanted her to change and find God. My friend and I prayed (along with some of her other friends) and a few days later the girl who had been damaging her body decided to be saved. She is now a Christian. Whoo!

First Post!

Hey guys, so this is new and I'm not quite sure how this is going to work. I really want this blog to be a place where teenage girls (and boys) who feel like they need someone to pray for them, or someone close to them to come and know that some where someone is praying.

I'm not sure how to set it up so that everyone can post, or if there is even a way to do that. So until I figure it out, you can just email me your prayer requests and I'll go in and post them.I can add your name or do it anonymously. Which ever you feel more comfortable with.

I got the idea for this while I was talking to one of my new friends the other day. She asked me to pray for a friend of hers and then when I passed on the message to other friends I was asked to pray for a friend of another friend. I figured the power of prayer is so strong and can really change the situation, and that having this here could really influence great things.

If you are going to subscribe to this blog that's great...and please feel free to pass on the word, but I would like to ask that there aren't any judgmental comments left towards the requests. Feel free to leave comments or even advice for some. I think that would be very helpful. But the rude comments could really hurt people, and that is not the intention with this!

Like I said send me a shout out if you have any ideas on how the blog should operate.
